Judgment Day...The PPV, not the Rapture

The WWE presents Judgment Day this Sunday on PPV. Since about 99% of the Facebuster nation will not be forking over $39.95 to the slow witted bastards at Comcast and/or spending three hours on the sabbath in the pursuit of temporal and worldly pleasures, I thought it fitting to instead start a thread on the matter. Per custom, venture your match predictions in the comments section.

This month, the winner will be the person who guesses the fewest number of correct results. And to the winner goes the spoils. The prize: an indelible sense of satisfaction from knowing that your wrestling intuition and acumen are more divergent from the WWE’s booking committee and corporate brain trust than your fellow Facebuster prognosticators.

Good luck.

Alright, I'll get us started...

John Cena somehow finds a way to retain the title over The Great Khali.

Edge over Batista.

Bobby Lashley overcomes the odds to defeat Vince, Shane, and Umaga, thereby recapturing the belt and ushering in the "Guy" era of ECW.

In three falls, MVP finally defeats Chris Benoit and caputres US Title gold.

Randy "Conceal and Carry" Orton goes over Shawn Michaels.

Due to copious New Breed interference, Elijah Burke defeats CM Punk.

The burial of Carlito continues as Ric Flair makes him submit in the figure four leg-lock.

Hmmm...

Cena retains the belt via DQ. A timeless display of punching and kicking.

Edge wins.

The Guy fails to win back the gold. Vince wipes his ass with the belt, announces ECW's cancellation.

MVP over Benoit (typing that makes me feel horrible).

Michaels defeats Orton- Shawn lands Sweet Chin Music when Randy becomes distracted by the peanut vendor.

Punk over Burke- New Breed paralyzed by news of their impending irrelevance.

Carlito beats Flair.

May the best man lose!

Even though it's Tuesday morning, you have my word as a gentleman that I haven't looked at the results for this shitstorm. For this month's picks, I'm operating under the assumption that the WWE has a personal grudge against me:

Khali beats cena.

Batista beats Edga.

Vince beats The Guy, hands joint custody of the belt over to the Mean Street Posse.

MVP beats benoit.

Randy beats Baldy.

Burke over Punk.

Flair over Carlito.
